The Physicians’ Group of palliative.ch has received the assignment to bring together its members on a regular basis for specific continuing education relating to our profession and our discipline. For the 9th edition of this Summer School, we will again prepare an interesting program. The goal of the Summer School is to help in building a professional community and develop a common vision, prepare the future and set up a network within our medical subspecialty. This year again, the plenary sessions will mostly be in English. Discussions are conducted in native or optional English language. With this program, we wish to contribute to a high-level of continuous medical education in palliative care by bringing in expert insights and discussing some crucial topics in-depth. We would also like to give the opportunity to share knowledge and experience between colleagues from all over Switzerland.

Overnight accomodation
A number of rooms have been reserved in various categories of hotel in Solothurn for participants attending the two-day summer school (and must be booked and paid directly by the participants). The hotel options available for the Summer School in Palliative Medicine 2025 only are reserved for booking until May 7th 2025. If you have already registered for the Summer School but have not yet booked a hotel, please do so by 7 May 2025.

Preliminary information

• Participants will receive the final programme with all the key information by Wednesday, 4 June.
• A lockable room is again available for storing suitcases.
• On the first day, there will again be a welcome coffee (breakfast style).
• Confirmations of participation will be sent by email after the Summer School, by the end of June 2025 at the latest. 
   

The organising committee is looking forward to inspiring interactions among participants, inspiring contributions from our ranks, new two workshops and a beautiful location right on the Aare river in Solothurn.
